Latticino Floral Paperweight

The core of this marble is made up of a series of 16 complicated canes.  There is a beautiful pink ballotini, a white filigrana, and a great orange and red latticino that alternate in orderly sets.  Scattered around the base are small seedlike leaves that add an organic feel to the rigidity of the basket structure.

Right on top is the most delicate glass flower.  A pale blue and white with reddish brown tones near the center.  It’s a really unique composition that echoes the themes of paperweights throughout history.
