Cool black 1/2 overlay vase

This vase is handblown using traditional techniques. There are no molds used in the production of this vase making it a unique handmade piece of art glass.

I Used a base of deep black glass and did a half-drop overlay of a beautiful mix of yellows red and oranges. The best colors fall has to offer really pop on this field of black.

The foot is applied as a hot drop and shaped by hand. It is ground on the bottom through 3 stages of diamond lap grinding to a fine frost

This Piece is 9 1/2 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter
